Dance! Come and enjoy the fun of Morris dancing – a great way of keeping fit and making friends! No dance experience necessary but a sense of rhythm helps. Just wear something comfortable for moving in and a pair of trainers.
Those who want to learn more could become 'apprentices', then full members as they progress!
Playing music for dancing! We also welcome folk musicians who play fiddle, melodeon, concertina, accordion or similar. Tunes are usually in the keys of G and D, with an aim of playing from memory by summer.

Local Support
Working together to support Hurst

In Hurst we are very lucky to have an amazing network of over 60 volunteers available to offer help should you need it for shopping, collecting medications or just someone to have a chat with during these difficult times.

If you would like to speak to us, or want to ask for help for yourself or a neighbour, please view the list of helpers and we’ll see how we can help.

You can easily find volunteers in your area - just select your road or click on a map.

Some volunteers have offered to have a chat on the phone, some have offered to collect any medication and some to shop. If the volunteer cannot help directly, they can contact another volunteer for you.

Even if you’re self-isolating, you’re not alone.
