Highlights
Looking for a new interest in 2022?
Get involved in a Hurst Village gem.
It’s been running for 108 years and now needs someone to join
our small friendly team to help run the Home Industries section.
It’s the
Hurst Horticultural Society
annual village show held in August each year
on a Saturday afternoon (not to be confused with the
Hurst Show &Country Fayre which is a much bigger show).
The Home Industries part of our show covers
children’s entries, baking, preserves, photography, arts and crafts.
You don’t need to live in Hurst, you just need to be a team player and enjoy being involved in something worthwhile.
I’m
Frank Whittaker,
secretary and would be pleased to hear from you to explain more so please get in touch:

COVID-19 Support
Working together to support Hurst
In Hurst we are very lucky to have an amazing network of over
60 volunteers
available to offer help should you need it for shopping, collecting
medications or just someone to have a chat with during these difficult times.
If you would like to speak to us, or want to ask for help for yourself or a neighbour,
please view the
list of helpers
and we’ll see how we can help.
You can easily find volunteers in your area -
just select your road
or
click on a map.
Some volunteers have offered to have a chat on the phone,
some have offered to collect any medication and some to shop.
If the volunteer cannot help directly,
they can contact another volunteer for you.
Even if you’re self-isolating, you’re not alone.
